Lessons

At Grace Equine, our horsemanship lessons are designed to build a strong, confident foundation for both horse and rider. We focus on Stock Horse disciplines, teaching riders proper body positioning, balance, communication, and effective horsemanship skills that can be carried into every aspect of riding.

Our lessons go beyond simply learning to ride. Students learn the importance of proper horse care, understanding horse behavior, and developing trust and communication with their horse. Through patient, thoughtful instruction, riders learn how to recognize and respond to their horse’s body language while developing confidence in the saddle and on the ground.

We believe true horsemanship is built through trust, patience, consistency, and understanding. Our goal is to help every rider develop confidence, self-esteem, and the skills needed to create a respectful and trusting partnership with their horse. Our able-bodied riding lessons are designed for riders of all ages and skill levels, whether you’re preparing to own your first horse or looking for a fun, enriching activity for the whole family.

We offer a comprehensive horsemanship program that covers every aspect of riding and horse care:

  • Trail riding – Build confidence navigating varied terrain while enjoying the beauty of the outdoors.
  • Saddling & grooming – Master the essentials of horse preparation and care.
